摘要: ATTEMPTS have been made to distinguish between spermatozoa of mammals containing either an X or a Y chromosome by looking for differences in size and surface properties the two classes cells (see refs. 1 2 reviews), but results such approaches are equivocal. Another approach is try identify within head spermatozoon. Like Zech3 others4,5, we found that distal end long arm mitotic meiotic meta-phase nuclei human displays fluorescence more brilliant than shown other chromosomes when stained with quinacrine mustard.
