摘要: SUMMARY Insomnia co-occurs with many health problems, but less is known about the prospective associations. The aim of current study was to investigate if insomnia predicts cumulative incidence mental and physical conditions. Prospective population-based data from two last Nord-Trondelag Health Studies (HUNT2 in 1995–97 HUNT3 2006–08), comprising 24 715 people working population, were used as a risk factor for defined according 4th edition Diagnostic Statistical Manual Mental Disorders (DSM-IV). at HUNT2 significant range both conditions 11 years later. Most effects only slightly attenuated when adjusting confounding factors, remained following adjusted analyses: depression [odds ratio (OR): 2.38, 95% confidence interval (CI): 1.91–2.98], anxiety (OR: 2.08, CI: 1.63–2.64), fibromyalgia 2.05, 1.51–2.79), rheumatoid arthritis 1.87, 1.29–2.52), whiplash 1.71, 1.21–2.41), arthrosis 1.68, 1.43–1.98), osteoporosis 1.52, 1.14–2.01, headache 1.50, 1.16–1.95, asthma 1.47, 1.16–1.86 myocardial infarction 1.46, 1.06–2.00). also associated significantly angina, hypertension, obesity stroke crude analyses, not after confounders. We conclude that several These results may have important clinical implications, whether or treatment would preventive value should be studied further.
