Fatigue Level Analysis for Post-Harvest Activities of the Corn Farmers in Tanjung Bintang, South Lampung

摘要: Corn has its own charm in the agricultural industries, especially Tanjung Bintang. This crop can be consumed as staples food and feed industry. In corn production chain, postharvest requires some special attentions, price tends to decrease due incorrect postharvest handling. The increase of demand must followed by higher productivity that identified from several work elements, which consist cutting (Ct), transporting (Tr), milling (Mi). this moment, post-harvest process is carried out both men and women. was performed when it had been dried on field. Hence, there no drying needed. purpose study determine fatigue level farmers activities subjectively objectively. The objective method used direct observation field measuring heart rate using a HRM. On other hand, applied subjective SOFI questionnaire data. results showed were significant differences dimensions physical fatigue, consists lack energy (LE), exertion (PE), discomfort (PD) with general transportation showing highest lowest milling. dimensions, Lack ofmotivation (LM) sleepiness (S) did not indicate any significant difference majority work. objective measurements, IRHR value grinding more than 1.50. This value indicated element classified heavy conclusion, measurements appointed (Tr) fatigue.
