摘要: It is well known that FIR filters can be efficiently realized in the short-time Fourier transform domain, namely using sliding windows and FFTs. In some scenarios, however, standard overlap-add or overlap-save block convolution algorithms may impractical due to need for large transforms implement long filters. this paper, we show how realize arbitrary IIR an STFT framework whose size, hop size are not constrained by target filter response. First, review a subband filtering approach which enables implementation of arbitrarily such fixed-size system via decomposition impulse We then extend case filtering: first, map single-pole into filters; then, any scheme. These approaches useful applications as realization modular frequency-domain systems, on restricted hardware, compressed-domain processing coding adaptive filtering.
