摘要: Degenerative disc disease (DDD) is the major cause of low back pain, which usually leads to work absenteeism, medical visits and hospitalization. Because current conservative procedures surgical approaches treatment DDD only aim relieve symptoms but not regenerate diseased disc, their long-term efficiency limited. With rapid developments in science, tissue engineering techniques have progressed markedly recent years, providing a novel regenerative strategy for managing intervertebral disease. However, there are as yet no ideal methods constructing tissue-engineered discs. This paper reviews published reports pertaining summarizes data concerning seed cells scaffold materials discs, construction whole relevant animal experiments effects mechanics on outlines existing problems future directions. Although perfect treating has been developed, great progress achieved It believed that ongoing research will result revolutionary DDD.
