Hydrogen Bonds and Enhanced Aggregation Emission of Organic and Polymeric Fluorophores with Alternative Fluorene and Naphthol Units

摘要: In this study, fluorescent organic compound FN and polymer PFN with alternative fluorene naphthol units were prepared to assess the influence of hydrogen bonds (H-bonds) on emission behavior. Both exhibit enhanced aggregation behavior emissions solution mixtures higher degree aggregation. For solid films, fractions H-bonded hydroxyl groups decrease upon being heated high temperature, which results in aggregate dissociation reductions emissions. Meanwhile, procedures leading increase H-bonds (such as shearing or by addition nonsolvent preparative step) resulted films intensity. Variations can be detected infrared spectroscopy are line
