摘要: Interest in the formation of solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) film on graphite electrodes has increased recently quest to improve performance lithium-ion batteries. Topographic and frictional changes surface a highly oriented pyrolytic electrode 1 M LiCiO{sub 4} ethylene carbonate/ethylmethyl carbonate (1:1) were examined during charge discharge by situ electrochemical atomic force microscopy friction simultaneously real-time. Solid commenced at approximately 2 V vs. Li/Li{sup +} stable with an island-like morphology was observed below 0.9 +}. Further experiments KS-44 graphite/polyvinylidene difluoride binder composite showed similar phenomena.
