摘要: Abstract Objective This study presents the outdoor performance of five solar photovoltaic (PV) systems with different cell technologies (poly-crystalline (pc-Si)), mono-crystalline (mc-Si), Copper Indium disulfide (CIS) thin-film, Amorphous Silicon (a-Si), and Heterojunction Incorporating thin (HIT) film. Methods The PV are installed on rooftop buildings at Kwame Nkrumah University Science Technology, Ghana. systems' energy output in 2014, module temperature as well environmental data were collected analysed. Results total annual delivered to grid varies between 3133.2 kWh for CIS 4572.1 kWh pc-Si while ratio from 48.84% 71.26% (for p-Si). density ranges 45.7 kWh/m 2 195.8 kWh/m HIT. actual by all 2014 is 20.62 MWh. Conclusions shows, that, technology least suitable p-Si most site considered, followed a-Si, HIT mc-Si respectively. If space a constraint, then, based system this potentially, sites similar climate. Practice implications findings useful identifying that appropriate location provide information policy makers individuals about grid-tied
