摘要: SummaryThe absorption and retention of 47Ca 85Sr have been compared for four volunteers on a normal diet with without supplement sodium alginate. The alginate was given 7 days in amounts approximately chemically equivalent to the dietary calcium.Alginate decreased by about 70 per cent respectively. The mean ratio supplemented that unsupplemented 0·23. This greater than derived from earlier results subjects milk alone. The urinary faecal excretion as well plasma concentration stable sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium, strontium, barium phosphorus, were measured.
