摘要: Ethical leadership and a values-based culture should be two sides of the same coin in intercollegiate athletics. Needed are ethical leaders serving as role models integrity, trustworthiness, honesty, fairness, respect for others. model how values guide actions decisions well implement reward systems that hold others accountable conduct. Athletic directors other athletic administrators with moral courage to do what is right regardless circumstances can nurture cultures they shape develop lives athletes colleagues influence. The purposes this theoretical work explicate leadership, explain connection between culture, propose developing sustaining culture.
