摘要: Hepatitis D virus (HDV) infection can cause severe acute and chronic liver disease in patients infected with hepatitis B (HBV). Despite the significant decline global HDV infection, it remains a major health concern some countries. This study aimed to investigate prevalence clinical features of co-infection HBV Korea, where is endemic. Nine hundred forty [median age, 48 (18-94) years; men, 64.5%] chronically were enrolled consecutively. All who positive for surface antigen (HBsAg) at least 6 months tested anti-HDV. A portion delta was amplified, sequenced, subjected molecular phylogenetic analysis using sera from anti-HDV positive. Clinical virologic markers evaluated. Inactive HBsAg carriers, B, cirrhosis hepatocellular carcinoma accounted 29.5%, 44.7%, 17.9%, 8.0%, respectively. Only three anti-HDV, corresponding 0.32% rate. inactive carriers. RNA could be amplified by PCR two patients. Phylogenetic showed that both carried genotype 1. In conclusion, very low (0.32%) Korea. HDVs 1 detected Therefore, may not have impact Korean infection.
