摘要: Abstract A group of 4-month-old beef calves were examined for clinical respiratory disease with labored breathing, coughing, and fevers over 104 °F. Necropsy one the revealed lungs that not collapsed but had red mottled appearance on cut surface. Assessment lung tissue by bacterial culture PCR did reveal bovine or viral pathogens. Histopathology affected tissues lymph nodes larval ascarid nematodes. In combination phylogenetic analysis, amplification sequencing ITS1 was used to identify larvae as Ascaris.
