摘要: Abstract The effects of post-weld heat treatment at a solution temperature 540 °C for 5 hrs 30 mins followed by ageing 190 6 on microstructure and mechanical properties friction stir welded dissimilar aluminium alloys A319 AA6063 have been examined. Post-weld results in improved properties. effect the morphology second phase particles silicon, copper iron zone has studied. hardness both as-welded was found to be lower than that but higher base metal. Microstructural studies reveal dominates zone.
