摘要: Metro and other rapid transit systems increase the mobility of urban populations while decreasing congestion pollution. There are now 191 cities with a metro system in world, 49 which were inaugurated twenty-first century. The design is hard problem involving several players, multiple objectives, sizeable costs high level uncertainty. Operational research techniques cannot fully solve problem, but they can generate alternative solutions among decision makers choose, be employed to some specific subproblems. scientific literature on location planning has grown at fast rate over past 20 years. In this chapter an account most important results provided. First main objectives indices used assessment described. Then models algorithms such reviewed. case single alignment full network treated separately. follows section stations already existing network.
