摘要: The value of various forms physical activity, exercise and sport in health promotion is universally acknowledged. This research compared psychological wellbeing self-perception persons who regularly engage with a control group non-exercisers. Different activities selected included club exercises (mainly resistance training), hockey (a team sport), running aerobic exercise). Main findings were that engaging regular activity perceived themselves as having more autonomy, personal growth, environmental mastery, purpose life, positive relations others, self-acceptance, competence conditioning than Regular exercisers also attached importance to sport, conditioning, body attractiveness strength Hockey players others either members or runners. relevance these further implications for interventions discussed.
