摘要: Abstract Experimental measurements of visible flame heights, temperatures, and pollutant emission indices in partially premixed swirling flames with a broad range central fuel tube equivalence ratios (Φ F ) are reported. Two cases studied; one constant exit velocity the other an increased velocity. With increasing partial premixing, height decreases overall color changes from yellow to blue. Temperature indicate that structures become thinner temperatures increase continuously premixing. Emission index, EINO x EICO, values decrease levels premixing reach minimum value at Φ ≈ 3, followed by as approaches blowoff limits. The reduction EICO optimum 3), compared for non-premixed is least 23% 77%, respectively. index NO scales very well mass fraction fuel-air momentum flux ratio. Good agreement achieved between predictions measured results.
