摘要: In this research, a virtual world of an Austrian town centre was created to teach German first year students at the University Calgary. While interacting with characters in City of Salzburg, were able take control their own learning, and same time exposed cultural linguistic realia that are often not present other types language games. playing game, reported improvement listening skills, they also noted experience beneficial for vocabulary pronunciation, general fluency, improving reading skills. Surveys direct observation student game play offer insights into attitudes towards personal use games, value educational games teaching impact different testing environments on success game. Examining recorded paths taken through by during space syntax research offers some interesting perspective insights strategies players employ when looking correct path urban space. fact, isovist axial maps may be helpful predicting line action as they navigate no verbal clues.
