摘要: Extracellular vesicles (EVs) released by various cells are small phospholipid membrane-enclosed entities that can carry miRNA. They now central to research in many fields of biology because they seem constitute a new system cell–cell communication. Physical and chemical characteristics EVs, as well their biogenesis pathways, resemble those retroviruses. Moreover, EVs generated virus-infected incorporate viral proteins fragments RNA, being thus indistinguishable from defective (noninfectious) depending on the genetic material incorporated them, play significant role infection, both facilitating suppressing it. Deciphering mechanisms EV-cell interactions may facilitate design inhibit infection be used vehicles for targeted drug delivery.
