摘要: PURPOSE: To correlate perilesional enhancement on gadolinium-enhanced magnetic resonance (MR) images with histopathologic findings in patients hepatic metastases. MATERIALS AND METHODS: In seven histopathologically proved metastases, MR obtained before and early late after the administration of gadopentetate dimeglumine were retrospectively evaluated for enhancement. The thickness parenchyma intense was calculated. histologic tumor border (the zone separating outermost nodule from surrounding parenchyma) also measured. RESULTS: three patients, showed prominent enhancement, which correlated a thick containing peritumoral desmoplastic reaction, inflammation, vascular proliferation at examination. one patient, mild shown.
