摘要: The ability of patients with Alzheimer's disease (AD) or global amnesia (AMN) to acquire skill for tracing a pattern seen in mirror-revers ed view and retain that over 24-hr intervals was examined. Both patient groups had poor recall recognition their mirror-tracing experience, but they acquired retained as well normal control subjects. One AMN (H.M.) the year-long interval. Furthermore, transferred normally an alternate pattern. These results indicate memory system underlying learning is separable from medial-temporal structures compromised AD neocortical areas AD.
