摘要: Objective: To validate malnutrition screening tool of nutrition risk index (NRI) against patient-generated subjective global assessment (PG-SGA) as a gold standard in colorectal cancer patients before radiotherapy. Methods: Nutritional status 52 volunteer with mean age 54.1±16.8 years who referred to radiotherapy center were assessed by PG-SGA (gold method) and NRI. Serum albumin levels determined colorimetric method. A contingency table was used determine the sensitivity, specificity, predictive value NRI at malnutrition, comparison Results: The findings showed that 52% 45% our study moderately or severely malnourished respectively. had sensitivity 66% specificity 60% PG-SGA. positive 64% negative predicative 62%. agreement between statistically insignificant (kappa =0.267; P>0.05). Conclusions: present prevalence high cancer. Moreover, method low assessing nutritional It seems combination anthropometric, laboratory parameters scoring system may be helpful tools patients.
