The thin layer chromatographic behaviour of some E seco oxindole alkaloids, and their relationship with indolizidine and some simple oxidoles

摘要: Abstract Oxindole, hydroxy and methoxy oxidoles indolizidine have been examined on alumina silica gel thin layers using the same solvent systems in which diethylamine is first absent then present. Twelve E seco oxindole alkaloids their behaviour related to simple oxindoles (corresponding alkaloid A B rings) C D rings). It has proposed that N(4) does not take part adsorption of allo normal but carbonyl does. However thes cannot be completely explained theser terms. The are generally more strongly adsorbed than corresponding alkaloids. This terms hydrogen bonding with adsorbent hydroxyl groups. anomalous three discussed.
