摘要: The effects of preoxidation with ozone and PEROXONE (hydrogen peroxide ozone) on in-line filtration performance were examined by conducting pilot-scale experiments comparing the results full-scale plant performance. Preoxidation did not allow for a reduction in coagulant (combined alum cationic polymer) doses good treatment yet sometimes caused increased filter run lengths because lower head loss or delayed turbidity breakthrough. Filter effluent turbidities similar no-oxidant preoxidant trains. Dissolved organic carbon levels filtered waters higher train as compared no preoxidation. was moderately more effective than alone eliminating odors waters.
