摘要: Crystalline ${\mathrm{C}}_{60}$, after exposure to air, is shown exhibit the characteristic luminescence spectrum of singlet molecular oxygen. The role oxygen verified by measuring large isotope shift ${\mathrm{O}}_{2}$ vibrational mode replica in a sample prepared with $^{18}\mathrm{O}_{2}$. Detailed spectroscopy reveals novel bands which arise from vibronic coupling transition ${\mathrm{C}}_{60}$ molecules. This allows measurement unparalleled sensitivity and precision mg-sized samples.
