Dual preparation of hydrophobic and hydrophilic BaWO4:Eu phosphors

摘要: Abstract BaWO 4 :Eu phosphors were prepared by performing a solvothermal reaction in water–hexane bilayer system. A barium oleate (and europium oleate) complex was obtained hexane via phase transfer involving Ba 2+ Eu 3+ ) ions an aqueous solution of sodium oleate. The outer surfaces the nanometer-sized capped long alkyl chain oleate; therefore, hydrophobic preferentially dissolved layer. micrometer-sized water and yielded sharp strong absorption emission peaks at 464 615 nm, respectively, due to 7 F 0  →  5 D 2  →  F transitions ions. are good candidate red-emitting for use InGaN blue-emitting diodes, which have wavelength 465 nm.
