摘要: Because of the competitive evolution rock-climbing, rating scale difficulty (RSD) has taken a central role in organisation this activity. However is based on evaluative mechanisms, and little known about its validity metrical properties. Considering RSD as historically builded up with accumulation experts judgements, assumption proposed that properties might be related to individual processes judgement. An experiment was conducted aim test hypothesis. 15 high-skilled climbers participated experiment. They had perform 27 climbs an artificial climbing wall. were asked, after each path, rate difficulty, according RSD. Furthermore, subjects asked estimate, using magnitude estimation method, exertion, required accuracy. Electromyographic data collected right upper limb, evaluating objective exertion provided. Results showed more accurate increases. appeared logarithmic function perceived exponential These results are discussed relation psychological models
