摘要: Purpose: This report summarizes the authors' 2-year experience with excimer laser photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) on 160 eyes of 128 patients. Methods: All were treated an laser: fluence, mJ/cm 2 ; frequency, 5 Hz; ablation zone diameter, 5.0 to 5.5 mm; and depth per pulse, 0.21 0.27 μm. A suction fixation ring was used in all either nitrogen flow (79 eyes) or without (81 across cornea. Follow-up ranged from 1 month (152 24 months (12 eyes). Results: At 3 months, 82% (139) achieved uncorrected visual acuity 20/40 better; 83% corrected within ±1 diopter (D) intended correction 30% lost one line best-corrected acuity. 6 88% (124) 84% D 15% 12 91% (71) 17% 100% (12) 91.6% 0% Conclusions: In a follow-up 77% better 92% correction. The authors conclude that PRK appears be safe procedure capable correcting patients low moderate myopia approximately same degree accuracy as radial keratotomy.
