摘要: This review of several studies from the authors' program research supports notion that experience pain, particularly in home, has a profound effect not only on patient, but family and health care providers as well. Family caregivers revealed their private grief burden when describing physical suffering they witnessed. They faced daily responsibility making decisions regarding loved one's often resulted ethical conflicts. Caregivers generally felt ill-prepared for administration pain medication. struggled to balance need medications relieve against perceived unwanted side effects fear addiction. These also demonstrate concerted effort must be made by support management role caregivers. By listening, being available, priority, reinforcing appropriate principles, professionals help sustain carrying out anguishing unrelenting task.
