摘要: Conjoined twins are rare and present a unique challenge to pediatric surgeons radiologists. An imaging strategy accurately define anatomic fusion, vascular anomalies, other associated abnormalities is important for surgical planning prognostic information. A conjoined female twin with combined weight of 2.8 kg was born by emergency caeserean. Hence, computed tomography scan the thorax entire abdomen at 1.25 mm slice thickness performed delineate internal structures twins. CT-angiography defined specific supply which determined distribution shared between echocardiogram showed four heart chambers atrioventricular septal defect. To further evaluate chambers, planned gated cardiac magnetic resonance imaging. Unfortunately, they succumbed 6 hours apart due complication septicemia. Magnetic CT provide excellent detail, demonstrating organ position, viscera, limited anatomy, whilst angiography supply, useful in determining surgery.
