摘要: Objective To analyze the surgical outcomes and diaphragmatic involvement in stage III IV ovarian cancer. Patients methods All patients with III-IV cancer between January 2013 2016 were included. The of interest reviewed as follows: (complications, mortality), peritoneal carcinomatosis index (PCI), rate complete resection, disease-free interval survival. Results Fifty-seven included, 38 (67%) involvement; 10 cases (18%), resection was required. Optimal cytoreduction (OCR) obtained 49 (86%). PCI >10 31 (54%). Respiratory complications occurred (18%) mortality 3 (5%). Disease-free survival years 53%, being 87% without involvement. overall is 46%, 83% 27% affectation (p 10, virtually all will present Conclusion tumor burden different stages advanced an effective method to quantify it. constitutes independent prognostic factor for A a useful forces surgeon thoroughly review both diaphragms.
