摘要: Abstract Studies of electoral systems sometimes have difficulties in puzzling out the intricacies Danish Folketing system. This paper aims at demonstrating that this particular system is less complicated than it seems. It will also be demonstrated has been remarkably stable its basic structure, not having subjected to major changes since 1920. However, some system's components introduced over years, permitting a discussion effects such changes. In order provide an adequate understanding system, relevant seat allocation rules, thresholds, and district magnitude problems are presented discussed. Furthermore, these law variables on representation parties parliament tested empirically. One conclusion simpler usually regarded. accepts assertion central level national level, where rules for very proportional as well minor (above threshold).
