摘要: Erosion resistance is imparted to a metallic substrate without an attendant loss of fatigue life in the one embodiment by applying first ductile layer comprising metal from Group VI VIII elements as well noble group elements, and second hard erosion-resistant applied on boride, carbide, nitride or oxide selected III capable retaining integrity preventing diffusion material into substrate. Another defines another substantially pure between layers. Still that content either nitride, boride graded, i.e. concentration greatest (higher) toward top surface layer, decreases bonding layer.
