摘要: Abstract : In two separate experiments it was shown that DLLysine-H3 uptake is lower in hyperthyroid rats and higher hypothyroid animals than normal. This believed to be largely due metabolic considerations which effect the turnover rate of amino acids brain tissue proteins rather being related an increase or decrease synthesis total amount protein. It observed reacted variations thyroid state animal a manner comparable other tissues. A method described whereby one can study lysine presumably into nerve cells. With lysine, enough labeled acid entered cells permit chromatographic identification injected material as well quantitative counting by liquid scintillation procedures. Uptake ventral horn motor neurons spinal cord 25 30 times whole. Thus, region mixed cells, supporting tissues fibers reflects only heterogenous where relatively high concentration camouflaged low vascular glial tissue. (Author)
