Materializing Personhood: Design-Led Perspectives

摘要: As a result of the work by Tom Kitwood, one main aims dementia care is maintenance personhood; therefore, this article reflects on how design can contribute to purpose. Kitwood identified ten different interactions toward people with that enhance well-being and preservation personhood, which he called Positive Person Work. Each interaction explored from perspective: speculating we might for experience specific interactions, taking into account roles artefacts have in mediating them, they be used as considerations involving participants codesign process. These Work also served evaluation themes comment using designed outputs research, adding user perspective. The ideas share do not intend prescriptive or propose way designing dementia.
