摘要: This article provides information on the phenomenon of alopecia in Japanese macaques, Macaca fuscata, various environments and proposes a 3-step scoring system for quantitative assessment hair loss. Results suggest that is commonly observed with 20.5% individuals showing head 4.7% back across eight study groups. Alopecia was more adult females (30.8% 15.3% alopecia) than other age-sex classes. Seasonal variation noted, particular, in- dividuals patchy were frequently winter summer. not hair.
