New approach to the theory of second harmonic generation in reflection and transmission of light

摘要: Abstract A new approach to the calculation of nonlinear optical response a crystalline slab is presented. Analytical expressions for reflected and transmitted second harmonic wave are derived, in form allowed by symmetry medium including time-reversal symmetry. The main advantage that it takes into account both non-local behavior susceptibilities inhomogeneity medium. theory especially suited analysis experiments which should be taken exactly, e.g., case magnetic crystals.
