摘要: ABSTRACT The finite-element method is used to study transient heat conduction in two bodies sliding over one another with frictional generated at the contact interface. Temperature profiles and partition distributions are determined for three cases: two-dimensional between semi-infinite an infinite strip, three-dimensional a square area, railcar wheel rail. For Peclet numbers greater than 10, model models were found give similar results centerline temperatures distributions.
