摘要: Summary Aim A retrospective study of common points found between the circumstances occurrence and presence intracranial injuries in accidental head trauma for children under 3 years age. Methodology All these hospitalized at Angers University Hospital 2002 2010 recovering from reported as accidental, having undergone a cerebral CT-scan were included. Conditions classified according to their mechanism. Cutaneous signs fundus results sought medical files. Brain scans reinterpreted pre-determined grid. Results Thirty-four files The mechanism was high energy 20 cases, including six domestic accidents. only observed 17 identified comprised 16 parenchymal contusions which eight with subdural hematomas, two isolated epidural subarachnoid hemorrhages. Subdural hematomas complex bone fractures always result high-energy mechanisms even when accidents domestic, while could occur low-energy. Conclusion are mechanisms, fractures. This concept is important variation exists traumatic apparently benign severe injuries. Effects on soft tissue insufficiently described where they show evidence direct shock. These items highlight importance comparing anamnestic record clinical radiological items, include expert appraisals forensic examiners order prevent failure recognize suspected abusive situation.
