WIMP Dark Matter and Unitarity-Conserving Inflation via a Gauge Singlet Scalar

摘要: A gauge singlet scalar with non-minimal coupling to gravity can drive inflation and later freeze out become cold dark matter. We explore this idea by revisiting in the direction (S-inflation) Higgs Portal Dark Matter light of discovery, limits from LUX observations Planck. show that large regions parameter space remain viable, so successful is possible matter relic abundance be reproduced. Moreover, stabilise electroweak vacuum at same time overcome problem unitarity-violation during encountered Inflation, provided a real scalar. The 2-$\sigma$ Planck upper bound on $n_s$ imposes mass below 2 TeV, almost entire allowed range probed XENON1T.
