摘要: Normal paraffins are separated from a hydrocarbon vapor feedstream having 10 to 25 carbon atoms per molecule in constant pressure process employing molecular sieve adsorbent and n-hexane for purging dilution of gas oil - containing feedstocks. A portion the countercurrent, desorption purge effluent is employed as hexane cocurrent stream, thereby significantly reducing required amount recycle material, size equipment energy consumed processing said stream. countercurrent can also be used provide source diluent feedstocks, effluent, resulting further reduction costs, increasing adsorption efficiency utilization.
