摘要: I T is now well known that auricular fibrillation may occur in people without other evidence of organic heart disease. This particularly true the paroxysmal form irregularity for transient spells are frequently seen individuals who otherwise well. Even persistent lasting months or years any disease, subjective objective, has been observed occasionally. What not sufficiently appreciated such patients occasionally develop outspoken congestive failure and all disease disappear with complete return to a normal state if gross can be restored rhythm. In this sense there small but definite group moderate advanced whom entire process reversible under appropriate therapy. Finally, strong suspicion, from experience discussed, some irreversible started an essentially because prolonged developed cardiac enlargement failure. Such then partially respond digitalis diuretics. They hypertension complications succumb, as most do; often called chronic myocarditis instances nonBoston, Massachusetts
