摘要: Micro-radiology has a spatial resolution of few microns and may be considered the bridge that connects diagnostic imaging histopathology. The main advantages micro-radiology techniques, such as micro-computed tomography, micro-magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound microscopy are there is no need for optical transparency in specimen non-destructive. Despite remaining an emerging technology, their use forensic medicine growing because they permit detection tiny fractures or dislocations bones, teeth calcified tissues, virtual analysis micro-architecture nervous, pulmonary cardiac 3D reconstruction distribution foreign bodies with density higher than 1000 HU on surface inside biological specimens. In this overview, prominent areas practice micro-imaging methods fields pathology, anthropology ballistics illustrated.
