摘要: Abstract The prevalence of bovine ketonemia among 1155 dairy cows in various stages lactation and parity on 25 Jordanian herds was studied. cross-sectional study conducted during the spring 1992. Serum concentration s-hydroxybutyrate (BHB) 1.7 mmol/l were considered to indicate normal, mild severe ketonemia, respectively. point prevalences 22% 3.8%, decreased with increasing herd size. Associations between parity, stage lactation, metritis, somatic-cell count (SCC) serum cholesterol levels not significant ( p > 0.05).
