摘要: A simple, precise and accurate difference spectroscopic method has been developed for the estimation of lincomycin hydrochloride (LMH) in bulk pharmaceutical dosage form. The proposed is based on measurement absorbance Lincomycin at maxima 209 nm minima 220 nm. value amplitude between two equimolar solutions analyte different chemical forms, which exhibits spectral characteristics. Since drug was freely soluble distilled water, a stock solution (1mg/ml) prepared with water. Further dilution made by using 0.1N sodium hydroxide phosphate buffer pH6.8 separately. spectra were nm, respectively. Difference these calculated to find out amplitude. This plotted against concentrations. obeyed beer's law concentration range 5-25μg/ml showed good correlation. result analysis validated recovery studies.
