“The fishery went away”: The impacts of long-term fishery closures on young people's experience and perception of fisheries employment in Newfoundland coastal communities

摘要: There is a growing body of research documenting the impacts fisheries collapses on communities and workers. Less attention has been paid to sustainable use resources so that future generations have access these resources, or creation mechanisms might contribute intergenerational continuity recruitment workers regeneration communities. In this paper we report young people’s experiences perceptions employment in Newfoundland Labrador deepen our understanding resiliency small-scale fisheries.
