摘要: AbstractThe aim of this work was to investigate the role nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH) oxidase on left ventricular dysfunction rats submitted sinoaortic denervation (SAD). Experiment 1: 8 weeks after SAD rats, NADPH in ventricles assayed by Western blotting analysis. 2: Rats were subjected and received treatment with apocynin (an inhibitor, 30 mg/kg/day, intragastric administration) for weeks; SAD, Nox2 Nox4 expressions Rac1 activity higher than those sham-operated rats. Although did not affect blood pressure, pressure variability (BPV), baroreflex function, it significantly attenuated hypertrophy marked reduced expression atrial natriuretic factor β-myosin heavy chain.
