摘要: The statistical relationship between construction activity and economic growth was shown to be positive some 1.5 years ago, by the late Professor Duccio Turin University College Environmental Research Group (UCERG), as well Strassmann in USA. Analysis on basis of new data now available for a much larger number variety countries confirms these earlier findings illuminates nature extent both growth, output, throughout developing world over past 20 years. But raises more questions than it answers . How do industries Third World cope with very rapid expansion that has occurred countries? What about have not grown? Does close mean if is expanded will follow? Or this just trap unwary? And finally, why so little attention paid sector, development economists planners?
