摘要: Abstract Background The purpose of this study was to determine the dietary factors associated with being overweight and obese among school-going adolescents in Region One, Gambia. Method This a school-based cross-sectional 1008 students from eight Senior Secondary Schools one Gambia participated it. Data were collected through questionnaire self-administered method, weight height measurements. Using age gender-specific cutoff points proposed by World Health Organization, body mass index (BMI) calculated using measures. data analyzed frequencies for underweight, overweight, obesity, association between status participants determined Chi-square test.
