摘要: Four Holstein heifers (215 ± 7 kg; means SD), fitted with one pancreatic pouch, duodenal re-entrant cannulas, and infusion catheters, were used in this experiment. In phase 1, the 24-h profile of fluid was determined. Pancreatic flow peaked 1h after feeding, but peaks similar magnitude also occurred before morning feed, necessitating collection to estimate daily excretion. 2, effects infusions 0, 10, 20, or 30 g leucine on determined a 4 × Latin square design. The infused for 12h 2,500 mL infusate, samples jugular blood collected 1-h intervals from beginning 36 h. results showed that secretion rate (mL/h) significantly higher 10-g group than other groups (mL/h). Protein concentration (mg/mL) elevated proportional amount infused. Leucine increased both (U/mL) (U/h) α-amylase. Infusion 10 rates trypsin, chymotrypsin, lipase, did not change their concentrations. No significant plasma glucose insulin concentrations found. indicate could act as nutrient signal stimulate α-amylase production exocrine function dairy heifers.
