摘要: The inability to deliver bioactive agents locally in a transient but sustained manner is one of the challenges on development bio-functionalized scaffolds for tissue engineering (TE) and regenerative medicine. mode release especially relevant when agent growth factor (GF), because dose spatiotemporal such at site injury are crucial achieve successful outcome. Strategies that combine drug delivery systems have potential provide more effective regeneration relative current therapies. Nanoparticles (NPs) can protect agents, control its profile, decrease occurrence severity side effects target cells maximizing effect. Scaffolds containing NPs loaded with be used their local delivery, enabling site-specific pharmacological as induction cell proliferation differentiation, and, consequently, neo-tissue formation. This review aims describe concept combining scaffolds, efforts aiming develop highly multi-functional systems, emphasis application TE connective tissues.
